Raised in a small town called Cape Freels near New-Wes-Valley, Sandy started taking an interest in music and playing guitar at the age of 15. By 19 he had written and performed his own music at various benefits and concerts. While away working in Alberta, Sandy made a few friends in the music industry who encouraged him to pursue a career writing and composing his own songs. When he returned home in 2006, his dream had started when he was asked by Steve Vincent and Jon White to help start a band.
