After sending a few random guitar recordings to both Vincent and White, the boys started showing Strickland some of their own ideas. They mentioned that they were looking for a bass player, and since they were actually good guitar players, Ryan decided to pick up a bass for a laugh. That bass was recieved in the mail the same day of their first jam, and Queens Maid was born.
